The World Series is killing me slowly. I can’t hang like I used to. These late games during the week are brutal. Tonight for a change of pace I am watching the game at home…in my pajamas and on the comfort of my couch while enjoying my Phillies cookie. Need to rest up for this weekend.

This Weekend
I was pretty much in hibernation mode all weekend. Left work on Friday feeling like crap and was fighting a head cold all weekend so I stayed in and lounged around in sweats. Did a lot of catching up on the DVR. Gave in to the boyfriends months of pleading for me to watch season 1 of The Wire with him. Didn’t put on make-up once and left the apartment twice for no more than an hour. I think I really needed this 2 full days of nothingness. It has been cold and rainy in Philly all week so it was nice to not have to go out anywhere in the rain. For once, I really enjoyed having a relaxing weekend with absolutely nothing to do.

Can you not simply hit “reply” and answer my question? I don’t have the time, or the patience, for the phone, I fear.
There’s one person who does this every time I email them and I find it so annoying. Calling someone is basically my last resort.
I’ve been working in PR for close to 5 years now and it’s funny how excited I still get every time I see a 212 area code pop up on the caller ID with anticipation that it’s a big NY media opp for a client.
Chinese takeout and Thursday night TV…can’t wait.
In other news, my DVR is really starting to stress me out. There are way to many shows I am trying to watch.
Never fails that when the Biggest Loser contestants get to make calls home, I end up in tears. This show is an emotional rollercoaster
My Favorite Week of the Year
It’s Restaurant Week here in Philly! Every year we try to pick a new restaurant to try out. Tonight I will be dining at Zahav. It’s modern Israeli cuisine which will be a first for me but it has been at the top of every Best of Philadelphia ranking for the last year and has gotten great reviews so I’m pretty excited to see what all the hype is about!
Um is that the PC guy as the announcer?
